  1. Emily:

I just replied to a thread back in 2011 asking if you were going to update the blog. I did not realize that my Google search took me directly to one of your posts and inadvertently thought it was the most recent post on your blog as a whole. My apologies.

As I stated in that post, I was wondering if you had ever taken any pictures of Pomskies (a cross between a siberian husky and a pomeranian)?

    Thank you.

    1. No, I have never taken any pictures of Pomskies. I had no idea about this mixed breed and that it is becoming so popular. I try to picture a big husky cross with a tiny Pomeranian… Very interesting… I just went to your blog and read about the Pomskies. Thank you for teaching me something new. Good luck on your search for real photos of Pomskies. 🙂

    1. Hi Roseanne,

What an adorable Facebook page you have. Lhasa poos are so adorable and they have such an amazing personality. Evie brings me so much joy and surprises everyday by just being herself. Yes, you can put Evie’s picture on your page. Thank you for asking. 😀

    1. Hmm… not sure why you didn’t see the comment section. There is one on every page. I saw your comment on my recent post on the home page. So perhaps found the comment section? Thank you for the subscription. 🙂

  2. Route 66…the memories flood back, washing over me, assaulting my senses and entering a small closed part of my heart. I traveled this route in 1969, this trip is the basis for a novel I have been working on. Your post has jolted me back to the task at hand…to finish that novel NOW. My gypsy spirit has been pulling and tugging at my soul yet the constraints of a ‘ normal ‘ life continue to tug in the other direction….I am an older hippie on the outside looking into a world that frightens me.

    1. Thank you for stopping by, Sandra. Perhaps it’s time you take another trip on Route 66 to refresh your gypsy spirit on why you need to finish your book. I understand about having the gypsy spirit and who says that is not the ‘ normal ‘ life? 😉 This world frightens me too… and I find myself constantly seeking peace and solitude from the craziness of it all. Best wishes to you… Emily

  3. Emily,

I loved the photo of the dogs and the leaves. Just can’t go wrong with nature and dogs.

Also liked the one of the dog and the seagull.

  4. Thank you for subscribing to my blog. Photographing food must set you some challenges, DOF, lighting etc. I don’t think it’s something I’d like to tackle …..Mike

    1. When it comes to shooting food, I do constantly have to deal with those challenges. Although, it’s also those challenges that makes shooting food fun and exciting for me. And of course, there is the added benefit of eating my work. 😉

  5. Hi Emily,

I think your blog looks great and offers short, authentic and informative posts. Your suggestion to put my blog on WordPress has a lot of merit. Tonight, if I get a free minute, I’m planning to check it out!
