The Logging Legacy

Have a fun and safe 4th of July weekend everyone!

The Logging Legacy Memorial, designed by local artist Dan Snider, and constructed in 2008, honors the 8,000 individuals who have died in the logging industry in Washington State.  The memorial is located on Griffin Avenue (State Route 164) in front of the Enumclaw Public Library.

  1. I am guessing this monument is from Seattle area(?)
I like the way you have presented this monument in this post – we get to see the monument and read the significance of this statue.

    Thanks for sharing.

    • The monument is located in the town of Enumclaw. It is a small logging town about an hour drive from Seattle.
